Our Woodpigeon Nest.

Watch a live feed from the Woodpigeon nest in our garden in Suffolk, UK.

They are back for another year on the Woodpigeon nest. So buckle up folks if you have seen any of the live feeds from previous years you will know that anything could happen!

The first egg was laid at 07:00pm on Wednesday 2nd September and the second egg was laid on Friday 4th September. Normal incubation time is around 19 days so we are looking at the eggs hatching somewhere around the 23rd September.

It is difficult to tell the difference between the male and female woodpigeon but the male does the day shift to guard the nest when there is a chance of predation of the eggs and the female does the night shift. Change over for shifts is around 8.00 - 9.00am in the morning and at around 5.00 - 6.00pm in the afternoon.
